When you have a job offer remember that "negotiate" is a portmanteau of "neg" - Lower their self-esteem to make them more likely to agree to your offer "goat" - you are the GOAT, act accordingly "I ate" - you're not hungry you could barely have another bite - is their offer worth it?

We really labored over this architecture. We wanted to balance user autonomy & control against the requirements of running an at-scale global network The biggest decision we made was opting for a "web-inspired" architecture as opposed to a "mail-inspired" architecture (a la ActivityPub)

You know TECHNICALLY there's no May the Fourth in the Star Wars universe they don't have the same year or month structure as us AND ALSO they don't speak English so even if they did the pun wouldn't wo- (falls into a newly open sarlaac pit, is consumed for 1000 years based off Coruscant's orbit)

What's sad about the timing of the government UAP/UFO disclosure is that it's happening alongside the generative AI boom, which means any newly released video evidence of the UFOs and aliens will be permanently less effective

There's not enough UFO content in bsky yet so I'll help fix that, go listen to the UFO Rabbit Hole pod where a philosopher and the host talk through a weird idea in ontology called "hyperobjects"

The primary reasons I'm stoked about Bluesky and AT protocol is because I am huge web nerd and Twitter is a crufty old app. It feels way better to be in a newly written app with a smaller group of intentionally chosen people. The fact that so many of us are also huge web nerds helps.
