Despite the media assault, in the Scottish elections the people have returned a record majority of pro-indy MSPs. That majority consists of 58 SNP MSPs and 15 Scottish Green MSPs, a record for Scotland's 2nd pro-indy party. Bringing the total pro-indy MSPs to 73! Democratically backing Independence

This is a parliament designed not to have a majority. It was incredible when SNP managed to achieve this. A fifth term when faced with constant negativity from the media and no big billionaire funders is an amazing achievement. The media are trying to frame this as an SNP failure.

Despite the UK media telling us the SNP 'failed' to win a majority, the SNP won 58 seats, 2 more than the combined total 56 seats won by the 4 anti-indy parties. The Greens won 15 seats taking the pro-indy MSP total to 73, a record pro-indy result, a double mandate for this Scottish Parliament.

Scottish politics needs a wake-up. Just as Farage has dominated UK politics post-2024 it is irrelevant if they finish 2nd or 3rd in Scotland. They will be treated as the opposition: saying outrageous things, peddling racism, stigmatising minorities & engaging in culture wars. Centrism is not enough.
