We are concerned by the nature of the media attention focused on the election of Dr Q Manivannan to the Scottish Parliament at the recent election.

First decision of this term is already absolutely wrong direction. McArthur was clearly and objectively the best person for the role: absolutely shameful if a combination of party politicking and a desire to pick a notable social conservative as chair in a diverse parliament is what gave us this.
