I will say this - the celebrity-worship aspect of TGAs takes on an increasingly comedic tone as the industry works to tear down voice acting as a career in favour of AI. Oh the industry will pay homage to the power of celebrities, yes. But only while digging up the foundations under them

The video also makes it clear how incredibly protective Disney is of their characters, especially Mickey. In that light, it's wild to me that they would give up control over their characters' image in such a way. Surely this won't blow up in their faces when people inevitably make terrible stuff.

I don’t talk about it much because the situation doesn’t really change but it’s still insane to me what an enormous amount of really talented game developers are out of work. just whole studios worth of incredible people, often people who worked on beloved games, unemployed.

This is only marginally related and I'm most likely in the minority with this, but increasingly annoyed by feedback highlighting visual glitches caused by things the players caused themselves. Things I've received feedback for on various maps:

Mfers complain that TF2 mappers don't test their maps enough to account for every possible variable and then disappear when asked for feedback to see if their specific issue is fixed or not. I'm not sure who needs to hear it, but if you want us to test more, more players need to help test.
