we're in the midst of an historic, decade-long homelessness and housing crisis, the federal govt has been taken over by actual nazis and they're in city hall whinging about graffiti, street racing, unpermitted street food vendors, and expired car tabs.

In 1994 they gave Mike Nichols $70 million to make a werewolf movie. This is something that really happened

Mamdani talking lucidly and passionately about trans rights and history in a video that should frankly shame every politician who has hemmed and hawed and triangulated and said, "Well, but sports..." It's not that hard to tell the truth and stand for what's right.

Just saw a SPD recruitment video that looked like it cost about $50 million and I’d be interested to know how much of that was paid for by me

Just remembered something from the Ballet on Friday. During the curtain call all the dancers got applauded, then they bring out a dude in a tux, presumably the director, and from where I was sitting he looked EXACTLY like Tim Robinson. So that was a treat

The sins of all our fathers, being dumped on us — the sons The only choice we're given is how many megatons? And I eschew you! And I say, screw you! And I hope you're blue, too

I watched JAWS in 3D last night (not Jaws 3-D), 2 notes: 1. The 3D presentation was spectacular! I was skeptical but guess what now I highly recommend it 2. Half the theater jolted when Ben Gardner pops out, guy sitting behind us dropped his drink. Still got it!

Tonight is the 20th anniversary celebration of Chili Night, created by myself and Kevin Clarke on a bus in the Czech Republic in 2005. Thus far we have watched somewhere between 10 and 10 thousand bad movies and eaten 10 to 10 thousand gallons of chili 🌶️
