Springtime would not sound like Springtime without the “𝒟𝓇𝒾𝓃𝓀 𝒴ℴ𝓊𝓇 𝒯ℯ𝒶” song of the Eastern Towhee. They are short-distance migrants from where I live, only traveling a few hours south each winter and returning in the Spring. I love to watch them hop around under the feeders. Such a cheerful bird.
