I do not understand why Dems (or someone) are not broadcasting wall to wall montages of ICE thugs abusing our neighbors, abducting children, terrorizing US citizens, invading homes w no warrant, or murdering mothers. This should be a massive exercise in ISSUE SALIENCE driven by Dem elites.

I always feel roguish to make such a basic point, but bias is an intrinsic feature of _data_, and transitively of any system of analysis or decision-making based on data. The fact that this point has to keep being demonstrated over and over for more complex systems is crazy-making to me.

The New York Times does a lot of things very effectively, but the most underestimated and underreported part is just how much they invest in online advertising. My strong suspicion is that this person had not been contacted by campaigns before. That didn't make a difference to the MN result here, but the fact that campaigns prioritize contacting only certain sets of people (very instrumentally) means there are tons of people who've never been asked to vote.

We have an entire class of Democratic "leadership" that has been told that it's dangerous and extreme to say this, and that does not understand that what Democrats want is for their leaders to articulate what they believe and why they believe it. Our current president is billions richer than he was this time last year through corruption. A Republican senator from Florida was forced to resign from his company after it defrauded millions from Medicare and Medicaid. But no it’s the democrats who must be stronger on fraud.

Sanctions like suspending tourist visa could be much more effective than escalating the trade war. And the E.U. should talk to state governments.
