Can the brain reverse its dynamic flow? Batista/Yu’s lab shows that neural activity follows strict temporal constraints. This is great, it will make optotagging easily accessible to more labs. Also, instead of waiting for the histology to confirm where the probe is, you could tag cells from that brain region (e.g. dopa cells in VTA).
