Just a proud Canadian guy trying to understand the world a little more each day
pinned post!
Canadians, this won't be easy, but the US has given us a wake-up call. We cannot allow our country to be reliant on any country the way we are on the US. We need the freedom to run our country as we decide, that can't happen when another country can hold our wellbeing hostage to their demands.

Canada must put a stop to this abusive Grok platform. The people doing this need to be prosecuted and the Grok platform held responsible for preventing this sexual abuse on their media. We need to lead on this not be late to act.

I hope Canada deploys some ships as well. This is exactly why Canada should not buy the F35, the U.S. will shut them down along with withholding parts. We cannot be purchasing defense weapons from a potential adversary.

I know some travel there is unavoidable, but why anyone that has a choice would go to the U.S. is baffling. There are so many wonderful places in Canada and around the world to travel to, without contributing to the economies of the shit-hole countries... which now includes the U.S.

That "one more dog sled" Denmark added in 2025 is in fact $4.2bn spent on buying an additional 16 F35s, two new Arctic ships, several maritime patrol planes, an additional early warning radar and a plethora of drone systems. That's remarkable for a nation of 6 million people.

It most certainly is murder, the best a parent that does this to their child is a manslaughter charge, in any case they absolutely should be convicted. You think parents should be responsible for making these decisions for their kids... then they're responsible for the consequences.
