How can anyone argue that America is not an authoritarian state when the president refused IRS oversight, sued us for billions after we expected the same oversight that we’ve held to all former presidents, “settled” for a couple bil and made it illegal for he and his cronies to ever be audited?

So if Trump can no longer be audited, he can release his tax returns now, right? Wasn’t the deal supposedly that he couldn’t release them while under audit?

Congress works 140 days a year and earns $174K annually, plus full benefits. How can anyone survive on that without a few stock trades and a little insider trading? They get 225 days off a year and think it’s okay to hold the federal minimum wage at $7.25 an hour for 17 years.
