sure, the world is going up in flames, there's unrest in the streets, and America has become a global punchline, but at least Trump voters made the handful of trans athletes in the country feel extra bad

In line at the dept if transportation to get my daughter's learning permit. A. I am old. B. The world just keeps moving no matter how much is burning around us and I don't know whether to love or hate that.

I still *want* to write. It has just been a really long time and I feel lost somewhere below the surface of being able to descibe much of anything.

Harriet Hageman got booed to oblivion last night in her own town hall for pumping up Doge so hard that even her loyal suckers woke up and smelled the bullshit—about five months too late!

It is interesting how few people I met at the old place are still people that I communicate with. I don't know if that says more about them (sometimes) or me (probably a lot of the time) but it is interesting since I found what felt like community there.

I'm not very good at breaking laws (heck, I even drive the speed limit) but i think i want to start a national littering as civil disobedience movement. I mean, if they're wanting to turn the country into a garbage dump... I mean this in jest, of course, but it has sort of an allure to it.

I feel like the only thing I've written in ages are letters to my representatives. And those are always form rejections in this state.

Two rejections this morning within 5 minutes of one another. Might be a new record!

Anyone else having a lot of submittable submissions showing up as rejected with no corresponding emails? I logged a rejection this morning and figured I would check on older submissions. Had 5 rejections logged in submittable that I could not locate an email for at all.

Had nightmares last night - fell back into them every time I went back to sleep. Exhausted today. I blame green chili.

I have to have a small outpatient procedure and this is the most i have ever looked forward to anesthesia in my life.
