My friend has low lymphocyte count. He is worried about measles but not covid it appears. Due to cancer treatment and current physical state he can not mask . I don't know how I feel about all of this but this is the thoughts of the general public right now.

Four years ago, I tested for COVID. I'd had dinner with someone with cancer the night before. Thanks to the vaccine, I did not give that dinner companion COVID. And I only ran a low-grade fever for a few days. Fuck that idiot RFK Jr. and the equally stupid buffoon who hired him.

I am protecting myself from COVID for selfish reasons. I could not bear infecting someone with COVID. So I mask when I can. Now, after a 13 day infection in nov 2024, I believe that infections you may feel you recovered from may still have lasting effects. I want no more COVID infections.

My infection, nov 2024, which should have been "mild" by now based on what we are told, produced 13 days of positive tests. I am growing more convinced that a 13-day positive like mine will have long-term effects. It may be the cause of changes in blood work months after infection.
