Meanwhile on the radicalisation engine, former children’s TV writer Gareth Roberts is insisting migrants eat swans, and former sitcom writer Graham Linehan is retweeting calls for “Jihadi invader” Mehdi Hasan to be deported “back to your Sharia shithole.”

ST:TNG - 'Evolution' Season 3! New uniforms! Smug scientists! Bev's back! and the best thing is Patrick Stewart once again having to say things like "Doctor Stubbs has used his influence to have planet Kavis Alpha Four designated the new home of the nanite civilisation."

ST:TNG - 'Shades of Gray' - Season 2 ends with a shoddy ep. Riker gets ill and slips into a coma which he experiences via a clip show. The audience envies Riker. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Not caught up for a bit... ST:TNG 'Peak Performance' - this is a good one, war games, old Starfleet ships, Picard finally admitting that Riker's 'the best!', Ferengi, even Wesley is a devious little shit.

Tonight's movie was BIGGLES (1986), which offers mid-80s sf thrills if Euston Films was behind it. Lost £5.5m at the box office. Ouch.

By the way, you can in fact run a media business where people give you money for goods and services. 56k+ people give The Onion ~$100 and we give them a year of newspapers. This business didn’t exist last year in this way. People will pay for good shit. Now’s the time to break glass and go for it.

If you’re rich and not a coward, this is what you’d refer to as a “market opportunity” to dominate a media ecosystem that’s about to be covered in grotesque government slop. To be a pop of color in a sea of beige will be easier than ever. People will flock to it. You gotta be a little brave, though.
