It's daft but this title sequence is the thing that makes me pang nostalgically perhaps the most, especially the few weeks "TV Mayhem" was still a thing. It was all so exciting - especially when you're 10 year old. I'd give anything for that blind optimism again.

Just been reminded of this Muppetational nonsense I made several years ago. Although I like the other one where Animal says "wank" better.

Good lord, imagine being desperate, bored and lunatic enough to write into Kerrang! in 1997. I hope all these people have seen sense and had themselves suffocated with a big pillow.

I love the fact BBC Two have just shoved on "Marcel the Shell with Shoes On" this morning in the kids slot as if its a Shrek and not a tender, quiet and beautiful character study.

Do you prefer the shorter episodes? Or do you like it all in one big huge chunk? Let us know, comment or reply to this. Episode 9 will premiere as a full length one hour episode next week, without our video antics between episodes. Those are exclusive to the 20 minute edits.

We've experimented with the three part, shorter episodes this time - Russ Abbot's episode was far and away the quickest out of the traps for viewers with Les and Nookie's lagging a bit. So please do go and do your bit for the stats at

where you can watch *loads* of episodes!

So judging from the episode of Germany's "Musikladen" I saw yesterday, it was pretty much the same as "Top of the Pops" but with more sweaty balding men and murderers in the audience.
