I remember talking to a game designer wanting to use Waifu Labs around its inception to make a card game with unique cards (like Keyforge had). I pointed out that the tech just wasn't there yet; you'd have to have somebody hand-vet each image, since without human guidance it could output horrors.

@ukge.bsky.social shared a post on Instagram about a card game that has gAI 'art'. People (including me) commented on it expressing their disappointment. UKGE chose to respond by hiding the comments. Should we assume UKGE is pro gAI and doesn't care for artists without whom the con wouldn't exist?

I was tentatively interested in this but I figured at the very least they would handle shipping; as it is, the only "solution" would be to charge more for the privilege of buying through DTRPG, which leaves a bad taste in my mouth. (It may not be contractually feasible, either.)

speaking of lagomorphs, I ended up rolling up a character for a one shot of Mutants in the Now her name is Ellie, and she was a human who was studying marine biology! at least, until one day she got hit with mutant goop that turned her into a pika/fish hybrid with some psychic powers. x3

I've been dreaming of some day doing the basic turnabout where you play mutant chaos freaks fighting off troublingly wide space fascists, but it's somewhere in the bottom of my very, very deep idea pile. But if I trust somebody to do sphess mehreens as compellingly as possible, it'd be Erika.

For folks doing homebrew and 3rd-party work, some advice: PUT. YOUR. NAME. IN. THE. DOCUMENT. It can be a pen name. Contact information is nice if you're comfortable with that. But promote yourself! Take credit! Don't assume that people will remember where or when they nabbed something.
