I have to say, one of my favorite early OGL moments was when some of the other White Wolf developers, editors, artists, and graphic designers managed to assemble the Creature Collection on short notice and beat the Monster Manual to game store shelves.

Re-reading through V:tDA and this is the best advice that could be given to any GM of problem players. "My character wouldn't go on this quest", "My character wouldn't trust the other PCs", "My character has no motive to do this." Go and make a character who will actually play the game, then.

Vampire 20th anniversary wasn't even a 4th edition, it was just a celebration of the game over its 20 years. It was only retroactively dubbed 4th edition afterwards because Paradox wanted to call their game '5th edition' because a certain dragon game was hitting it big with its 5th ed at the time.

And by the way, Hunter the Reckoining 5e is only called 5e because they called Vampire 5e. Hunter never had a 2nd, 3rd or 4th edition. Even if you Hunter the Vigil, which you shouldn't because it's a different game, there still aren't enough editions to make the current one 5th. This triggers me.

Each time I decide to look at Vampire 5e, I seem to come across something else that makes me just go "what". Today's was the 'Aapilu', which is essentially little demons that live in your blood and are responsible for almost all the bad shit in the setting like the wyrm and Baali. No, really.

One of the dumbest rules in the old Vampire larp I was in, Celerity asked you to take up to 3 steps at the start of combat. Cue every player who had that power defining a 'step' by stretching their legs as far as they could in an attempt to step 10 feet three times without losing balance.

Every time a new game comes out, I hope that it makes me feel the way World of Darkness did in my late teens, but they never do, not even my own games.

I have a lot of issues with the Fall of X storyline as an ending to the Krakoa era - Apocalypse's forced reset, how abridged Moira's villain arc was - but none of my issues were with Xavier crossing the moral event horizon. That point was perfect. And it's why From the Ashes' retcon of it irked me.

Only one Star Trek movie (Nemesis) has ever lost money at the box office. That's a frankly excellent track record.
