With the start we had to this season the best we could have hoped for was win the mid table mini league and come 7th. With home games against most of that mini league (Brentford, Everton, Sunderland, Bournemouth & Brighton) to play it was in our hands, but we are royally fucking it up.

Not surprised at all by the lineup, suspected Murphy would be the only kid to start, hopefully shahar gets 30+ minutes tonight and that tonali is off within the hour. The fact that ruddy is on the bench suggests Howe doesn't think any of the other eligible kids are ready.

I'm not sure that many of our better u21s are eligible to play tonight. Pivas and Seung-Soo haven't been at the club long enough to qualify. I cant recall every loan, but suspect those might make a few more ineligible too. May be restricted to the kids who were on the bench for the first leg.

Every club tries to push players offside from free kicks and it's never punished. Let's be honest, nufc were never going to be the first team to be awarded a free kick for it. For the sake of my mentions I won't mention who you might have to be to get a call like that
