Hey, @ms.now It’s getting annoying that every show I turn on Rachel Maddow is promoting her broadcast. It’s absurd. And I just turn off any program (including her own) when the focus is promoting her podcast time after time. She’s been my favorite journalist. But now I see her as self serving.

The alleged Charlie Kirk assassin identified as Tyler Robinson from a white Republican household. His family are 2nd amendment, blue lives matter, MAGA, and he was taught to shoot since a young age. His father, an ex sheriff, convinced him to turn himself in, qualifying for the FBI $100,000 reward.

Charlie Kirk’s assassination was horrific. That doesn’t change the fact that the vast majority of gun (and political) violence has been perpetuated by right wingers. You don’t get to change the narrative at will.
