What if "luck" only exists when meaning is attached to it? The probability of something occurring ranges from impossible to inevitable. If one outcome is more desirable than others, then its "good luck" for it to happen, and "bad luck" for it not to. Without preference, is it just "chance"?

Being an elder millennial that was a poetry kid, I've been rejected by hundreds of publishers, collections etc. What I held onto was believing in what I was doing. Curse the judges, curse the system, do what you need, but hold fast to the uniqueness of what you add to all of this. And do it again.

Another option is commissions and contract work. I'm open for graphic design and layout mainly, but also down for writing, design, and illustration. I've done some graphic design work for projects like Songs for the Dust and FATHOM. DM or email [email protected] for details & rates.
