I updated the covers for Pacts Arcane and Otherwise almost two months ago, but I never shared their print versions (I was waiting for my copies and then... well, forgot), so here they are! My ancient phone camera doesn't catch book 2's subtle blue hues well, though. Sorry!

I looked at the date today, and I'm trying to figure out how is it September 26th already?! My brain was stuck somewhere around 15th, then maybe barely registered the 21st. Who took the remaining days and what have they done with them? How do I get my September back?

I found the perfect opening sentence for my novel. Six months after I started writing it. A week after I finished it. This is your reminder that if you wait for things to be perfect, they might not get done for a long time. And the sentence, of course, is going into my book now.

The ending of Chapter 9 in Memories of Sorcery and Sand is probably the most heartbreaking scene I've ever written. And while I usually don't have soundtracks to my books, for this one chapter, there's a perfect song. 1/3

To celebrate nothing in particular, husband and I had homemade pizza today. 6-hour rise pizza dough, some tomato sauce, spices, garlic, pepperoni, and cheese (and onion for yours truly) equals "sooo good."
