It’s so hard to get up and go back to work when a kitten is sleeping sprawled across your chest and purring like a chainsaw.

What a chaotic weekend… one of my daughter’s cats was hit by a car and broke its hip (hopefully on the mend), we got baby Hades, took my MIL to the ER with a big leg wound because her garden cart ran over her after it got stuck, and this morning my Aussie had a seizure so she’s in my office with me.

He… does look a little bit evil when he does this… The name Hades really fits him. 😅

Gnar was finally willing to let Hades get close today. Such a huge difference in size between 22 pounds of part Maine Coone and mere ounces of boneless kitten soup.

We’ve decided to name him Hades.

My stomach loves how I spent the cocktail hour of this wedding eating chocolate wedding mints, spicy pickles, meat tarts, and cheese cubes.

Another reason I hate tip culture: Daughter works at a tea and ramen place, and told us she just find out the tips people give don’t go to the cooks like she thought. The owner pockets them all. None of the people working there get anything from it.
