In the 70s, COINTELPRO used infiltrators to disrupt social movements. One of their explicit strategies was to get activists paranoid and suspicious. Fear of infiltrators was often more disruptive than the actual infiltration. Paranoia sometimes short circuited groups before they even began.

It really is substantially more likely that some guy wanted to shoot some people (or one man in particular) than that the government staged a false flag attack. Running towards conspiracy thinking is naive and you should be embarrassed. Is it possible? Sure. Is it likely? No.

I went to a US Christian high school in the ‘90s, and this guy’s father David was required viewing there, saying exactly the same things. I left all that behind, and it is freaky to see it all popping up again but with more power. Like the whole world is getting haunted by the monster under my bed.
