I’m talking about social class in my Cultural Humility class this week. This is, year to year, the topic that students struggle with the most. They seem to have an easy time “seeing” social class. But they struggle to articulate if it matters—partially because they seem to really not want it to.

I am teaching a one-credit seminar this weekend called Child Sexual Abuse in the Organizational Context. Students examine case studies to consider organizations as locations of risk and prevention.

Elected officials and military advisors on TV will never model this behavior, but: It is perfectly legitimate to be AGAINST WAR because war is bad. You don't have to recite your way through a whole litany of apologetics about various sins of foreign governments first.

Just for posterity’s sake: starting a war without congressional approval is an impeachable offense.
