y'all ever think about chunithm's mechanics being intentionally designed to have less friction compared to other rhythm games (ex: slider removing any button guesswork) consequently making playing harder charts induce more real-life friction than nearly any other game one of my fingers got a bump

I think this is birthed from its "realistic" simplicity. Each suit gets: >slow ground movement >really heavy dash >jump/hover with lots of windup and landing lag >air-dash as your only "fast" movement option >melee with a short lunge >projectiles, and all projectiles are physically simulated

the further this replay of kingdom hearts 1 goes the more i'm realizing that kingdom hearts 1 enemies were in fact actively designed to juke your shit and make you look like a moron. this game rules

Learned that if you get Andore to line up with you at the top of the Z Axis he gives up using the charge attack more often than not which broke my brain. It doesn't outright prevent it but it adds so much consistency to this enemy. I tested this across multiple stages

fighting game players who pick shotos have no character loyalty, if they look up the patch notes and see their main get even just one nerf they're automatically thinking about dropping them and picking another shoto instead
