I want to like Marathon, but the issue I have with this game is just how excruciatingly long it takes to do ANYTHING. You sit in the menus for ages, cash in all of your shite, set up your loadout, ready-up, wait for a match, spawn in, run around, and THEN there's a CHANCE some gameplay will happen.

WE DON'T NEED ANOTHER FUCKING 3RD PERSON ACTION GAME. PLEASE BE SOMETHING ELSE. PLEASE. TURN-BASED STRATEGY, RTS, ANYTHING. WHY DOES EVERY SINGLE SONY IP HAVE TO BE THIS. WHY.

I feel like I could make a 5 hour video essay just talking about everything I love about ZeroRanger. Almost everything in that game has such rich detail. I wish I clicked more with Void Stranger because everything S-E does is peak.

Open question I guess: Do yall prefer this kind of description for complex spells / effects, or would you prefer more icons and less talky? I'm torn.

It's always interesting to me how some games quite literally would never exist in their current forms without a sort of weird factor of mutations. WoW Arena PVP and Raid Healing / TF2 6v6 in specific are created by so much circumstance I'm convinced nobody would actually design them from scratch.
