Happy new years all. Gonna join the chorus saying 2025 was an awful year, personally on top of everything else going on in the world. A bunch of health scares in my family including cancer and parkinson's, and we lost our wonderful cat back in April. Really hope next year lays off a bit.

Unless I sneak one more in soon, my last film of 2025 is probably Clue, which I'd somehow never seen before

I'm knee-deep in this game at the moment and it's great, pick it up! Intricate level design, cute art and lots of fun secrets. It's just getting better and better with every level.

Not watching or reading anything about no game awards

Maybe late to the party, but Caput Mortum is awesome. Rates highly on the spooky scale, has a really clever throwback control scheme (think somewhere between Amnesia and King's Field), and is a shockingly good mimic of sixth gen graphics. A really nice and focused ~2 hour experience.
