GameSpot folks deserve so much better than Fandom's executive leadership. GameSpot could have grown bigger than IGN if it hadn't been constantly tossed between owners who'd lose interest before the ink on the acquisition paperwork dried. A victim of a decade of utter negligence.

This is the sort of interview not many sites end up putting out - so I'm proud of that - but it's also so earnest and lovely I've just picked up the game, which seems like a delightful passion project.

I'm involved a bit in this too. Not so much in the day-to-day, but (probably) more as a communication facilitator, as I've been the point of contact for RPG Site for ~14 years To PR friends, I'm no longer allowed to say something 'isn't in scope', because Respec isn't defined by genre conventions.

Today launches the game I've been working on: Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced It's been an incredible experience working with such hardworking,talented & amazing people and we are very glad that players are loving it Unfortunately my whole team is being laid off so we can't fully celebrate it

The Pillars of Eternity universe (including Avowed) is one of the most meticulously built and richest worlds that exists in video games. It's such a shame that we might never get to see it again, because Obsidian is being sent to the mines.

I’m gonna be entirely vulnerable for a second. I started having Gout a couple years ago, and I’m currently having a flare up again - and I’ve been looking on Subreddits and seeing others describe it as the worst pain they’ve ever felt in their life is at least a little vindication

My review for Granblue Fantasy: Relink - Endless Ragnarok went up earlier today. I really liked it & impressed that Cygames only took 2 years to make this. This review is catered towards returning players, which made this one of the more unconventional reviews I've written that made it fun to write.

I previewed The Blood of Dawnwalker for Kotaku! It feels a lot like the Witcher, to the point you could argue it's the first "Witcher-like," but even so there are some FASCINATING twists. The time limit system is unlike anything I've ever seen, and feel like it could be this game's killer app.
