Between DQ, Octo, Elliot, Live A Live, TriStrat, Ikushima is certainly putting in the work!

I really dig this Octopath 0 key art by Naoki Ikushima. Having the flames of your razed hometown manifest into the cackling visages of those responsible is pretty evocative. Obviously it'll tie into the three-villain storyline, but also into the town-(re)building system at the forefront.

I know I'm not the only person who thinks this, but Dragon Quest VII might be the best Dragon Quest game when it comes to capturing the essence of Yuji Horii's style, particularly in its writing. The most "Dragon Quest" Dragon Quest game. Also I love the diorama look in the remake.

I don't know if this is a hot take, but when I think "what is the most average, most middle-of-the-road Tales game?", I think Tales of Xillia. I feel that most other entries are either stronger, weaker, or more lopsided towards certain qualities, but Xillia I am thoroughly neutral towards.
