games being multi-disc is such a special feeling that really cant be replicated today. like, this game is so vast and grand and has so much in it that they had to go out of their way to make more discs for each copy especially fun when disc swaps are after huge moments ingame

this game rules so hard. its SO unfortunate that sakura wars is so niche in the west even after 2 games got amazing TL patches. this series is phenomenal its unreal how high of a budget this has and they make the absolute most of it. 3 is such a ginormous technical leap too it caught me so off guard

just finished sakura wars 2 you really don't get games made with this much love and sincerity nowadays flat improvement on every single aspect of sakura wars 1. sw1 was a gamble and as a result had some rough points and now you can tell the team is cashing in on that success beautifully

completely insane to me that sega of america saw sonic cd's JP ost and decided "yeah no this isn't gonna work we're going to completely remake the soundtrack for the US version" on the bright side CD US ost gave us sonic boom but the rest of the soundtrack has only a fraction of the sauce of JP ost

the more i play battle garegga the more i realize how genius it is. so obtuse and cryptic on what it expects of you but once you put the pieces together its so rewarding. every mechanic feeds into other aspects of the game its a treat stage 6 is hard as balls though lmfao the tank onslaught is 💀💀💀

playing sakura wars 2 after going through the hundred line torment nexus 50 times over is insanely refreshing. hndr to the grave but damn if i dont need a chance to chill out with a laid back and optimistic story with characters that arent 70 different degrees of insane
