Folks, please be careful of whatever you download on questionable sites, especially things like mods or pirated goods. Been seeing more folks' accounts join the MrBeast crypto hivemind lately and it seems like one of the causes is delayed-activation malware.

I *think* what happened is we used Klearsky (3rd-party app, not to be confused with block-viewer app Clearsky) and it sets interaction settings per-post (including self-replies) rather than per-thread.

It's come to our attention that it is possible to bypass interaction settings via API manipulation or 3rd-party apps that can do so (eg. to reply to a "replies disabled" post). IF YOU DO THAT ON OUR POSTS, WE WILL BLOCK YOU.

I often see talk among game designers, especially arcade/niche game designers about tricking normies into liking something or other. I think it's prob better to do the exact opposite and be as clear, blunt & honest as possible through your game's design itself

[💙M] I've seen a few people in the shmupcord I regularly hang out in get into shmups via Devil Blade Reboot so MAYBE this genre isn't doomed to obscurity and people who will obsess over a certain franchise starring a miko and a witch but won't expand to the rest of the genre.

When people ask me where to start with shmups I always go with Devil Blade Reboot. It's an easy 1CC but that's not the main draw. The main draw is LOOK HOW FUCKING COOL THIS SHIT IS People need that kind of buy-in to want to learn in the first place.

Okay, one more recommendation tonight. Noticed that Radiant Silvergun is 60% off. One of the best shmups ever made. Treasure's first swansong (they thought it might be their last big game), and excellently remastered too. You have seven weapons available at all times which level up as you use them.
