It's guilt. People don't like being reminded that they are part of chains of infection, catching and passing on germs that are debilitating for many and deadly for some. When we wear masks, they have to grapple with it, so they'd rather write us off as crazy, than themselves as foolish or cruel.

Do you harbor similar feelings toward people you believe suffer from other mental disorders? If you're so easily triggered by people who wear a face mask in public, or annoyed with them for "salting your vibes," perhaps it is you who has the mental disorder and should be seeking professional help.

These people aren't masking for shits and giggles- they are the immunocompromised, elderly, and others who are, or believe themselves to be, particularly vulnerable to infections of airborne viruses such as sars-cov-2, influenza, etc.

My actual, real-life college career was, shall we say, checkered. I always assumed that was why I had these dreams, but apparently they're common? I could take college courses for free courtesy of my employer, and I won't because I'm afraid I'll just cut class. I got my degree 30+ years ago.

I help friends and family with their resumes, and you know we're old because they're structured with most relevant/recent work experience at the top, and education at the bottom, usually on a second page. (We try to keep it short, but at a certain age, two pages may become necessary.)

No one ever asks to see your transcript and also, after your first real job, no one much cares about your degree, it's about your work experience. My second job didn't ask anything about my education; it wasn't relevant. When I went freelance, it was even less so.
