Success! It took 4 years to get a fruit from this dragon fruit plant that was established in the yard when we moved here. Lots of trial and error with pollination, finally broke down and ordered a pollen mix online this season. I’m happy to report the fruit is very tasty!

To honor my late mothers birthday - she would have been pushing 80! - I encourage you, esp if youre over 45, to get a colon cancer screening. It is so important and could save your life. Its a miserable disease. If youre seeing this, consider it your reminder to make that call and appointment.
