I'm really glad the AI Human Made signs we made had the uptake they did, and that this was apparently "noted" by the organisers. (Whatever that means! If I don't get in next year we know why) But I shouldn't have had to make them. It's past time that UKGE took a stance.

As an attendee I found my experience was at its worst when I was trying to work out if a project contained AI. Either way it's a horrible experience. It fell to exhibitors to distribute their own signs marking their work as human made. That's not a solution, it's an abdication of responsibility.

Heres what I noted whilst attending UKGE . I could not enjoy the show in a relaxed fashion because I found myself searching for the "Made by Humans" "No AI" badge on stands. Additionally some of the stands felt like their banners and flyers were AI created . Lets set the bar on this I feel.

If you don't use AI in your work swing by our stand or Rowan, Rook & Decard's for a free sign for your table. Boycotting an event like this simply does not work to effect change I'm afraid. You have to do it at the floor level. Help us make the stance clear about AI in our industry.
