Just a friendly reminder as we go into the holidays: Folks don't have to explain to you why they don't drink. If you offer them a drink and they decline, don't ask them why. It's not your business. Just offer them something without alcohol to drink instead. And move on.

This could be fascinating. Depending on who gets it next, the title of Duke of York could be passed from a father to a son for the first time since the 1400s.

ZERO arrests at No Kings in NYC. (And the NYPD isn’t notorious for being sympathetic with people anti-Trump.) This proves what shameless liars Speaker Mike Johnson & Karoline Leavitt are to slander the participants as violent anarchists.

Some people on the left think just repeating “Anti-Zionism is not antisemitism” frees them from the work of thinking critically about what is and is not antisemitic. And a whole lot of people on the right think being a strong Zionist functions as a “get out of antisemitism free card.”

You know what's crazy? There have been no op-eds or editorial statements in major newspapers this year calling on Trump to resign. None calling for his impeachment. None asking if he's medically fit to be in office. Not one in any major newspaper all year.

I'm really pleased with how many elements from the 1990 workshop version of the Kiss of the Spider Woman musical will be in the upcoming film. Some great moments that were lost to the cutting room floor as the show evolved will be seen again, and that's pretty exciting.

The #1 way to explain America working properly is by saying “comedians can make fun of he President on TV.” A good way to explain fascism is “the President forces companies to fire those comedians as a condition of allowing them to conduct business.”
