Played some more of FF7 Remake on switch 2, got eye pain but not as bad as yesterday and only a mild headache. Looks like I'm slowly getting better after this gross sickness I've had for like 2 weeks?! I'm going to read more Warbreaker in a bit.

Played some of the switch 2 port of FF7 Remake. It works wonderfully well but damn, I have sore eyes and a headache after a few hours. Guess I'll play more tomorrow and start another book this evening.

Tress of the Emerald Sea, 5 outta 5. Perfect. Pirates. Curses. Unique seafaring. Sweet romance. Found family vibes. I loved every moment of it and can see it becoming one of my rereads when I need a little whimsy.

After years of saying I would, I've finally started reading Mistborn. I'm 16% of the way through book one and I'm really enjoying it so far.

the point of a movie is not to be done watching it. the point of a song is not to be done listening to it. the gamers' obsession with completion as the only motivator to play a game has directly led to the medium's worst traits. "AI gaming ghost" is a reflection of the lack of willingness to engage

the point of a game is not to beat it, it is to play it. difficulty is only "a problem" if it is "in the way" of beating the game, which is an issue in the mindset of the player, not in the structure of the game. redoing parts of a fun game is not a punishment, it's an invitation to hang out

First game of the year which I have completed to the credits, FF Tactics. I really enjoyed it, I've tried previous versions and didn't click with them but this newest release just worked. I loved a lot about this game but two things I loved the most? The voice acting and the job systems. 🥰

I'm seriously starting to question the credibility of the FIFA Peace Prize.

I played the FF7 Remake demo on switch 2 earlier and despite owning it and playing it already on the steam deck, I put a preorder in for it. 🤣 I just enjoy it that much and the switch is my preferred system.
