I don't mind playing as a male in Persona games, or games where that has always been the status quo, but if you continuously keep up the feature of having a male and female protagonist in your games, and then get rid of the female protagonist all of a sudden in the new game, I will be disappointed.

So, I know this sounds like a silly reason, but I might not get the new Fire Emblem game because of the lack of a female MC. I fucking CAN'T STAND playing as a male protagonist in RPGs, and I think it has to do with me being trans. Even when I am not self inserting, I HATE playing as a male.

New FE game thoughts: - Setting looks beautiful. Looks like Ancient Rome or Ottoman Empire - Characters look cool - Protagonist looks like a lil dork. Can't switch to female MC? Cringe! - Setting seems to be in the Three Houses universe. A prequel? Sothis looks pretty damn cool.
