Splatoon 3 was the first game I bought for the Switch, and had it since release, but only finished the story mode just now. Kinda feels like the end of an era. I hope Splatoon Raiders would be fun as well.

I've been adding to cart and removing this game for more than a year now. Maybe it's okay if I just buy it, just to make myself at peace again. I'm hesitating because I could buy it on PC cheaper, but can't run it at its best. I could wait until I get a much better PC, but that would take years.

I was looking for second hand copies of Astro Bot, but there's a suspiciously low number of posts for it. I know PlΔystation players prefer realistic games over stylized games, but I thought being a GOTY winner would atleast make it more famous.

Only giving Astro's Playroom a try now. It's actually really fun?! If I had played this when I got my PS5 a couple of years ago, I would have been really excited for highly stylized and playful first-party games from S0ny, like how it was on the PSP with Loco Roco and Patapon.

I'm reading thru the details about getting an Artist Invite Code on VGen. I can understand the words, but not 'getting' the meaning..? Need to have a friend who's already verified, or participate in social media stuff. I feel like one of those old people saying 'Back in my day...!' to young'uns.

Seeing these newer games with much higher quality graphics, complex gameplay mechanics, characters with deep backstories, and tons of dialogue... They still don't match sense of wonder and loneliness that Shadow of the Colossus achieved just from art direction alone.

I stopped watching D1gital Foundry regularly years ago because my PC has become lower than what they consider to be low-spec. But whenever they talk about retro console stuff, like their latest video about the GBA, it's clear to see that they actually love games, not just the tech side of it.

Listening to Zelda theories from before TOTK was released, and there were some really wild and reaching stuff there. Some of the expectations (disguised as theories) were so high, I don't think the game would have been able to match them. 'Expectation is the enemy of happiness', as they say...

If there was a stand that could end Okuyasu's father, it was probably The Hand (and Vanilla Ice / Cream). I wonder if Keicho realized this early on, but didn't want Okuyasu to carry the burden, so he had to make / find other stand users.

I'm seriously considering playing Persona 5X.. I could spend 1 hr each day for 20 days, completing daily missions to get free jewels / carats, just to do a 10-gacha roll, then not get anything (Uma). I'm so tired playing games that are skewed towards paid users. It would be a lot worse on a JRPG

What is with the people dissing RPG maker and talking as if only H-games are made with it? Omori and Look Outside are really famous and great games made with RPG maker. Corpse Party, Angels of Death, and probably a lot more niche and hidden gems too.

Hades II blabbering I finally defeated Typhon for the first time. I've already mastered defeating Chronos, even completing runs without using any death defiance. I wonder if I should stop with the game now while I'm in a high note.

I've played, lost miserably, and uninstalled Octo Expansion 3 times already, and another one just last month. Now I'm getting the urge to try it again.

I really should just buy games that I want instead of searching for second-hand games for hours but not buying anything. I think those hours (and the >10% money I would save) would be better spent actually having fun.

The youtuber I'm listening to pronounces 'ouija' as oh-WEE-jee, but all I could hear is 'Luigi' so I just try to keep myself from laughing while listening to supposedly creepy ghost haunting stories.

I played a significant chunk of Xenoblade X on the Wii U Gamepad, so seeing the game clearly on a much bigger screen on Switch 2 is already amazing to me. The upscaling on a 4k screen sounds great, but I'm happy enough with what I have.

I was playing the base version of XCX on the Switch 2 and it looked great. When I downloaded the upgrade pack, I immediately noticed the shimmering less than 1 minute in. I thought I would be fine since I'm used to this problem on PC, but it really is obvious when the screen is so close.

Did anyone else here received the email about the 'PlayStation Network (PSN) Digital Games Settlement'? Some news articles make it seem like all people who received the email are eligible for the settlement, but I don't think I'm included here since I haven't bought any 'game-specific vouchers'.

Just saw a post about how low-end phones are good for 3DS and Gamecube emulation. My current phone can't even run 3DS game on native resolution and fps, and it works great for daily casual use. But apparently, it's even lower than low-end..??
