Schumer's Senate term doesn't end until Jan 2029, but in the meantime another Democratic Senator could definitely become Senate Minority Leader (or ideally Majority Leader), especially one who supports Democratic candidates that their constituents elected in the primary.

It is not accurate to report that âmillions will pay double what they are paying nowâ for health insurance. That is impossible. Those millions cannot afford to pay that and will not do what they cannot do. Millions of Americans do NOT HAVE an extra $1,200/ month just lying around.
