Ipas is committed to ethical storytelling, image use and most importantly, upholding people’s dignity in the work we do. We partner with local creatives close to the communities they document. We had the privilege to work with photographer Rosa Panggabean to document Nur Aini's story in Indonesia.

At age 14, Nur Aini was in school. Then she got pregnant. In Indonesia, around 16% of girls in the country marry before age 18. That’s why Ipas trains health workers there to care for girls who experience pregnancy and child marriage with compassion and respect. Read her story: buff.ly/USh2kmZ

Ipas Zambia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, has developed an innovative on-the-job training model with the goal of ensuring women and girls have access to critical health services, bodily autonomy, and life-saving care. Read more here: buff.ly/In9BJqQ

2025 has already been a record-setting year for severe weather around the world—and in the U.S., hurricane season is just getting started. What does this have to do with abortion access? Well, during times of crisis, people need reproductive health care. Here’s a simple graphic that explains it:

RESIST TIP: Some simple tweaks to the language you use to talk about reproductive rights can help add clarity and reduce stigma surrounding abortion.

RESIST TIP: It’s important to know and understand the language used around abortion to quickly be able to identify and call out misinformation. "Crisis pregnancy centers" exist to spread misinformation and shame pregnant people who want an abortion.

Substantial global evidence shows that abortion access affects the ability to obtain or continue an education. This is true in diverse settings, including the U.S., Ghana, Brazil, New Zealand, India, and Guadaloupe. Learn more: buff.ly/5oyYT24
