Well, the cold stretch we got earlier this month was short lived. It was cold this past weekend, too, but we were traveling. And the ATV needs to go to the shop, so seems like we’re in for another week of summer.

I don't remember seeing any calls for violent retribution after a Minnesota state senator was assassinated, and it would have been nice not to see any today.

For what it’s worth I condemn the shooting as I condemn all gun violence. He never should have been shot. Just as much as no one should have. But that’s not the world we live in, because those of us who fight for that world consistently lose to the Charlie Kirks.

The problem with allowing guns everywhere is that no one is safe anywhere.

Maybe it’s easy to take the “moral high road” when your rights haven’t been threatened, when your kids haven’t been shot, when your family hasn’t been kidnapped and sent to prison camps.

I don't celebrate Charlie Kirk getting shot & I don't mourn his pain. I give him the same regards he gives to every other victim of political violence: a post while feeling nothing.

Let’s make one thing clear from the start: Charlie Kirk was the victim of a shooting in a country where he, along with other right-wing extremist influencers, have been inciting violence for years. — Kirk is neither a martyr nor a hero, he is a cause.

I despise Charlie Kirk and every hateful thing he stands for, but today’s shooting was truly horrific. Violence is NEVER the answer.

I think more second amendment gun nuts should get shot in the neck, actually.
