I woke up to a lot of folks upset about Green Arrow being cancelled & it breaks my heart. It sucks because this industry lives & dies by single issue preorders. Publishers don’t care about digital or trades. If you want titles to survive, you have to preorder the floppies!

In 2016 I started a podcast that grew into a site I funded out of my own pocket. I grinded hard, with friends & volunteers helping it thrive. Then the pandemic + my mom passing stopped it all. I even let an amazing opportunity with @popversesays.bsky.social as they launched slip through my fingers

Prepping a video on this but wanted to share: DC has long had a warped view of what’s “good for their brand” & their “standards of conduct,” so I’m not surprised. The book wasn’t perfect, but firing her over statements paints a grim picture for the medium’s future.
