COMING SOON! Got to channel my love of the legendary GIL KANE & JOHN ROMITA's Spider-Man #151 on this variant cover I penciled for @drumsoftheserpent's THE HUNTER! The series is a love letter to both the Marvel & DC Horror hero comics of the 70's, and is gonna be a bloody THRILLER!

My connection with the ol' Sea King has been a long crazy one. But I suspect it was issue #56 with him hitting Motown that really cooked in my teenaged mind & set our future path.

"Look Kids, Comics!!" Yesterday's mail drop brought home copies of my variant covers for Boom! Studio THE CENTER HOLDS #1. My cover's been sold out since hitting the shelves 2 weeks ago. So perfect timing!

Speaking of powerful firsts: Lee & Kirby's debut of the BLACK PANTHER from Fantastic Four #52 hit HARD & a legend was born. Also included, my first time drawings of LUKE CAGE: PAST/ PRESENT, ably inked by my friend, the late Art "Inky Fingaz" Nichols. Black History Month continues & is Forever.

THIS! Not since T'challa's first appearance in FF# 52 was a character's debut so powerful. John Romita Sr's LUKE CAGE HERO FOR HIRE #1 cover art, interior art by George Tuska & Billy Graham. A testament that this year's Black History Month never ends but continues onward EVERY month.

One of the Best in the comic biz left us today. Rest in Prominence, Performance, and Peace, Tatiana Wood.
