3 years ago today, Riot Games offered me a job making more money than I ever thought I’d make in my life. I had 19 interviews over 2.5 months to get it. Partner and I were moving to LA for it. I put in notice at my job and apartment. 2 weeks later they rescinded the offer due to “headcount issues”.

He did NOTHING wrong and was targeted solely because of his looks and language. He leaves behind two little American boys who may never see their dad again. I have no fucking words.

Our friend who was kidnapped by ICE is being processed for deportation as I type this. His lawyer quit during the shutdown and he was left to face a phoned-in "hearing" alone. His asylum case was summarily dismissed and he will be gone by Monday.
