The SAVE Act is not about whether a photo ID should be required for voting. Under the SAVE Act, the forms of ID most people use for voting, like a drivers license or military ID would not be accepted at the polls. They are trying to keep people from voting.

Gun Owners of America is lobbying Congress to pass the SAVE Act, which would require a majority of Americans to show a passport to register to vote. But GOA opposes any law that requires showing a drivers license to buy a gun. These are not serious people.

It's never been about rights. Now they're getting dangerously close to admitting it.
