Someone needs to do a study on how white male leads on TV shows will break into a monologue about a salient sociopolitical topic, spout stats/figures/moral values between zippy one-liners, and then that speech gets force-fed down our throats by the YouTube algorithm.

Part of what has triggered this thought has been thinking about apps like Doximity. Most healthcare workers have an account, but apart from using fax/call options do we actually use it effectively? And is there a way to make a decentralized version of it that's accessible on Bluesky/Medsky?

Exploring ways to improve the #Medsky algorithms & potentially build a better “High Yield” feed. Initial thoughts: personalizing by letting your Medsky label show you content from your specialty + trending content across all Medsky. If you have ideas/suggestions, please share!

Not a good match day for primary care; all filled fewer positions this year than last. We need more doctors; OECD (wealthy developed countries) average is 3.9 practicing physicians per 1,000 population; US has 2.7 (Germany 4.7, Italy 5.4, France 3.9). Ugh.
