My papa would’ve been 90 today. He was a tough ole bird. Grew up so poor he didn’t own shoes til 6. Drove to the hospital 2x during a heart attack, missed not one day of golf despite cancer. Taught me to drive a manual and told my husband, “be careful, she has a smart tongue.” Miss him so.
