Years ago, my band had a gig opening for Afroman at the Pickle Barrel in Killington, VT. He ended up not being able to make it b/c of a snowstorm in NY. We then ended up playing all night, pretending to laugh whenever we said Afroman wasn't coming & someone in the crowd yelled "because he got high."
