Well the good news is this is my last Sunday until June. The bad news is, that's finals season and the library will be insane.

Here's an old person rant -- I'll never understand why people have these long, elaborate personal conversations in public now. Every single day in the library I hear them. Remember phone booths and how they'd close for privacy?

OK we've had two people in the last week ask us for The Art of the Deal & get hostile because we no longer own it. Do you think this is a new talking point they were given? "Go to your public library and demand your tax dollars are spent on this classic book.."

I'm at the public desk and noticed we have a voice mail at 8:58am.. what is so important that someone has to call before we open? A woman would like to know if we have a book and if not, can we put it on hold for her? The book? The one she currently has and was due 2 days ago. This is URGENT.
