Huh… my favorite cover of all time was recorded in Colorado. Elton John's cover of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds was recorded at Caribou Ranch in August 1974. It featured John Lennon on bg vocals and guitar, and was the reason for Lennon's final ever live performance at MSG that November.
