Update: dropping my medication down to 20 mg has solved the excess anxiety problem, and I actually feel pretty at peace. The nausea is still rough but 2-3 hours of nausea a day is something I can plan around, and worth not having The Dread.

Put my money where my mouth is finally. Chapter one of Wretched Creatures, a kinky trans dungeon core novel, is now up. We don’t get to the dungeon core in chapter 1, but there is plenty of buildup and at least a little bit of trans lesbian sex.

I do not like that my options for my brain are “spiraling with terror” or “nauseated and miserable.” I would like a secret third option. (Meds that keep me from feeling anxious but don’t cause nausea.)

I've got chapter 1 of Wretched Beasts ready. I'm probably going to post it soon because holding back on things until they're "ready" is how I ended up in this mess. Wretched Beasts is already lurid and graphic and beautifully vulgar, and I haven't even gotten to the dungeon core yet.

It is difficult to express how much these numbers going up gives me life. Like... knowing people are liking me work, getting that feedback, is restoring my will to create in ways nothing has in months.

Okay yeah "Hey I have to finish my word works so I can write my fun gay words for friends to read" is very motivating.

Fucking hell I’d forgotten how motivating having people read and comment on my books is. Like that’s how I got this started. Gonna be doing more like this. Started working on Chapter 1 of my grimy, lurid, urban Dungeon Core novel Wretched Creatures.
